Weidauer-Group II, 9; SNG Kayhan-681. Obverse: Flattened striated surface; Reverse: Incuse square. A bit conservatively graded in the opinion of this cataloger, the present piece emanates from the earliest period of coinage, where a striated pattern was utilized for the obverse rather than an actual design of any kind. Moderately handled, but nevertheless charming and problem free, and rather SCARCE at that.
