Naville-22; Boston MFA-1320. Jason, magistrate. Obverse: Nike standing in facing quadriga; Reverse: Zeus seated facing slightly left on throne, holding scepter; ΙΑΣΟΝΟΣ to left; to right, eagle standing right on branch. A VERY RARE type with the facing quadriga, this example was unfortunately used in jewelry, but it nevertheless survives and offers a great opportunity for a coin that simply does not present itself all that often.
