SNG Cop-1199 var. (magistrate); BMC-131. Chairios, magistrate. Obverse: Warrior riding horse right; ΧΙΑΡΙΟΣ to upper left; Reverse: Silphion plant; cicada to left. A fair amount of scuffs and marks are noted in the fields and at the edges from its time in jewelry, but this piece nevertheless stands as a great budget example of a RARE type in gold featuring the extinct silphion plant.
