Cr-466/1; CRI-56; Calico-37; Syd-1018. Obverse: Veiled female head (Vesta or Pietas?) right; Reverse: Emblems of the augurate and pontificate: lituus, capis, and securis. Struck on a somewhat irregular and oblong flan as can often be the case for the type, this incredibly alluring specimen nevertheless features a well centered strike with a great deal of shimmering brilliance remaining and virtually no evidence of handling of which to speak. Immensely attractive and appealing.
