RIC-288; RSC-484. P. Petronius Turpilianus, moneyer. Obverse: Diademed and draped bust of Feronia right; Reverse: Parthian kneeling right, presenting signum with X-marked vexillum attached. Immensely attractive and dazzling, this barely handled specimen radiates with a deep cabinet tone and shimmering hints of brilliance emanating from the fields. When rotated, a subtle iridescent nature is observed, making this a truly special piece and one assuredly destined for the cabinet of a connoisseur.
