Obverse: VIRTVS FLORIAN AVG, laureate and cuirassed bust left, holding shield and spear over shoulder; Reverse: VIRTVS AVGVSTI, Virtus advancing right, holding spear and trophy; to lower right, bound captive seated right, head left. A VERY RARE and highly captivating piece, this example yields a particularly strong strike that is also well centered. An enchanting golden-orange hue with immense brilliance augments its charm that much further.
