A note from BCD: Like Frank Sternberg, Waldemar Wruck worked in Berlin before the war at the old establishment of Robert Ball under Hugo Grunthal. When the firm closed down in 1934 Wruck started his own business, Berliner Münzverkehr, with his first FPL coming out in early 1938. He died in 1971 but his son Ekkehard continued under his Father's name until 1978 when the last auction, no. 26, took place. In this catalogue, Greek and Roman coins occupy just over four plates; the remaining nine feature German and European.
