Tome Cinquième: Moyen Age et Renaissance-2, 416 pages (pages 415-416 are photocopies), 21 engraved plates; bound with Tome Sixième: Moyen Age et Renaissance-3, 433 pages, 4 engraved plates; bound with Tome Septième: Nouveau Supplément et Table Générale, 129 pages. Additional full-page and individual engravings appear within the articles. Original paper covers bound in (some with water stains, frayed and missing corners) and some plates lightly foxed. A note from BCD: Some of de Longpérier's Greek coin attributions verge on the naïve but his articles on the mediaeval and later coins seem much more to the point and well researched. Schlumberger must have thought a lot of him and worked very hard to put his writings in order. Three large volumes filled with the products of a tireless mind with an authoritative opinion on anything antiquarian or numismatic.
