A note from BCD: Active for barely a decade between the early 70's and the early 80's, Klaus Haak produced 17 matter-of-fact but quite elegant auction catalogues. However, it appears that around 1983, the supply of quality modern coins necessary in order to continue the business dried out. At the same time, the occasional consignment of ancient coins was not enough to sustain the company's momentum. There are about 190 ancient coins photographed in these 3 sales.
