A note from BCD: The rare first three sales of Mr. J. C. A. Loon who was soon to become "Coin Investment B. V." and continue to auction well into the 21st century the type of coins that the new name of the company suggested. An important Vatican collection and a plate of select ancients in the first sale, almost a whole plate of Roman coins in the second and some nice medals in the third are the highlights.
