Silesia, Medal - RARE, UNLISTED

Rare and unlisted medal that serves as moral warning to married women. The inscription on the rim says that women should do their work with dedication and lead the house in peace. The representations on the obverse and reverse illustrate this advice. The reverse shows three hives with swarm of bees, symbolizing hard work, and the obverse shows snail with house, symbol of peaceful home.

Rzadki i nienotowany medal służący jako moralne przesłanie dla zamężnych kobiet. Napis w otoku mówi, aby kobiety wykonywały swoją pracę z oddaniem i w spokoju prowadziły dom. Przedstawienia na awersie i rewersie ilustrują tę radę. Na rewersie widać trzy ule z rojem pszczół, symbolizujące ciężką pracę, na awersie ślimak z domkiem, symbol spokojnego domostwa.
