UNITED STATES: nickel 3 cents, 1887/6, KM-95, PCGS graded Proof 64+. CAC, strong overdate, S. There were only 2,960 pieces made in proof in 1887, including both the overdate and regular date varieties. This overdate variety is one of the few overdates in United States proof coinage. Interestingly, a different die with the overdate was used for business strikes, a fact that has not been readily recognized.
Estimate: 400-500 USD
