UMAYYAD: AE fals (3.40g), al-Rusafa, ND, A-185S, very rare mint in eastern Syria; standard design, with the obverse bearing three annulets in the margin, identical to type Walker-838 from the mint of Dimashq, which is dated circa 116-120 by Bone, likely struck very shortly after the well-known al-Madina Ma'din Amir al Mu'minin type (type #A183), some weakness, especially on the obverse, fully clear mint name, Fine, RRR.
