JHALAWAR: Prithvi Singh, 1845-1875, AR nazarana rupee, Jhalawar, VS1915 year 12, KM-6a, citing Queen Victoria, a lovely quality mint state example! PCGS graded MS63. The regnal years do not refer to the local ruler or to Queen Victoria, but to the founding of the British Raj in VS1915 (1858), which became the frozen Vikrama date on all subsequent Jhalawar coinage.
