ROMAN PROVINCIAL: LOT of 6 better Severan bronzes from Nicopolis ad Istrum, including two of Septimius Severus (Varbanov 2503ff, VF, plus another VF example), Caracalla (Moushmov 1118, VF), Geta (reverse with prowling panther right, Varbanov-, Hristova & Jekov 8.22.53.4-corr, extremely rare with only a few examples known, VF+ with lovely green patina), Diadumenian (Varbanov 3596, VF), Elagabalus (Varbanov 3853, VF+); most with full glossy patina, a very nice lot! retail value $400, lot of 6 pieces.
