Some leaves reinforced at gutter with tape. Several leaves of handwritten notes laid in. Very good or so. A rarely encountered reprint of this classic work on Byzantine coins, with a privately assembled volume providing a detailed key to the plates and serving the collector as a guide to values. The plate volume bears the bookplate of Max Safron.
