Very rare: not in the ANS Library and apparently the first copy we have handled. As explained by the cataloguer C. Samtleben in the introduction, Nathan bequeathed a number of the pieces listed in the catalogue to the Hamburger Kunsthalle-these are indicated with an asterisk to denote that they are not to be sold, but are listed to provide a more accurate portrait of the collection as it stood at the time of the collector's death on February 22, 1900.
