Hand-priced in ink, with many buyer names recorded along with coded bids and occasional commentary. Near fine. An annotated copy of this rare and exceptionally important catalogue, superbly illustrated. One of the most important sales of Roman gold coins ever held, the proceeds totaled 363,004 francs: a remarkable sum at the time.
