Qing Dynasty. Yunnan Sanchuo Jieding ("Three-Stamp Remittance") "Packsaddle" Sycee of 5 Taels ND (19th-20th Century), cf. Cribb-LXVI.I.846 (different assayer markss), Assayer Mark F2 (right) and F1 (left). 55x36mm. 176.64gm. Cast at Sheqingsheng Bank, inspected by assayers Zhou, Chen, Tong, and She. Each of the three main stamps reads: "She Qing Sheng Hao Hui Hao Wen Yin" (Sheqingsheng Bank, remittance bank fine silver), the right assayer stamp reads: "Guan Gong Gu Zhou Chen Kan" (Inspected by official public assayers Zhou and Chen), and the left assayer stamp reads: "Guan Gong Gu Tong She Kan" (Inspected by official public assayers Tong and She). An attractive representative of this classic type, featuring an appealing goldfish-orange tone to the stamps. A small test X can be see on the base, as well as the remnants of an inked character.
