II D. G. REG. F. D. 1980, rev. crowned lion prancing left over 10 value, legend above NEW PENCE, edge partially milled (S.F1). Toned, the milling weak as the blank being smaller than a regular ten pence did not quite fill the die to receive full edge marking, has been graded by NGC as MS61 – Mint Error, Struck on a Foreign Planchet (8g), very rare.

This planchet was probably intended for a Canada 50 Cents of 1980 which weighed 8.1g at the time of issue.
