Denmark. Svend Estridsen. 1047-1075. AR penning (16.5mm, 0.58g). West Danish mint(?). Draped bust left; crozier before / Voided short cross, trefoil of pellets in one angle, opposing angle small cross. Hauberg 3 (for type); Thomsen 9997 var; Hbg. auk. 732 var.; LEB 1634; Hede III 47 var; Ernst -; Becker Collection - . Near Very Fine, slightly wavy flan.
Hauberg attributed this coin to Lund based on one example which reverse read +IADRIF ON LVNDL (1.20g). However, the present specimen and others have much lower weight which indicates a mint in West Denmark, most likely Viborg but Aalborg or Aarhus could also be possible. See K.
