Two serpents entwined around bow and bowcase; to left, monogram of ΠΕΡ; within lower left serpent coil, galley prow; to right, filleted thyrsos. Kleiner & Noe Series 24b. SNG BN -. Extremely rare variety with the prow in the serpent's coil. Sharply struck and quite attractive. About extremely fine.
