Petillius Capitolinus. AR Denarius, 43 BC. Obv. PETILL[IVS] above, CAPITOLINVS below eagle on thunderbolt. Rev. Temple of six columns, S-F at sides. Cr. 487/2b. AR. 3.95 g. 18.00 mm. Scarce. Sound metal and full weight. A lustrous example, with a spectacular reverse. Minor weakness on higher points on obverse, otherwise EF/Good EF.
