BRITAIN. Trinovantes & Catuvellauni. Uninscribed, circa 100-40 BC. Stater (Gold, 18 mm, 6.00 g, 2 h), Waddon Chase type. Devolved laureate head of Apollo to right, with two 'wings' above the laurel wreath. Rev. Horse galloping to right; above, winged annulet and pellets; below, pellet-in-annulet. SCBC 32. Van Arsdell 1476. Boldly struck and very well centered. Die striations on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
