P. Maenius Antiacus M.f, 132 BC. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 4.00 g, 6 h), Rome. Head of Roma to right, wearing winged helmet, pendant earring and pearl necklace; behind, star (mark of value). Rev. P•MAE ANT / ROMA Victory driving galloping quadriga to right, holding wreath in her right hand and goad and reins in her left. Babelon (Maenia) 7. Crawford 249/1. RBW 1023. Sydenham 492. Lustrous and well struck, and with beautiful iridescent toning. Very minor scratches, otherwise, virtually as struck.
