Veiled figure standing left behind lectisternium inscribed L•CALDVS / VII•VIR•EPVL; to left, C/•/C/A/L/D/V/S and trophy with Spanish arms; to right, I/MP/•/A/•/X and trophy with Gallic arms; in exergue, CALDVS•III VIR. Babelon (Coelia) 11. Crawford 437/4a. RBW -. Sydenham 898. Beautifully toned and perfectly centered, a stunningly beautiful coin with a magnificent late Republican portrait. Good extremely fine.
