CAMPANIA. Neapolis. Circa 275-250 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 18 mm, 7.32 g, 12 h). Diademed head of a nymph to left, wearing triple pendant earring and pearl necklace. Rev. [N]EΟΠΟΛIT[ΩN] Man-headed bull walking to left; above, Nike flying left to crown the bull. HN Italy 586. SNG ANS 380. SNG Copenhagen 439. An attractively toned piece of fine style. Slightly rough, otherwise, good very fine.
