LUCANIA. Metapontion. Circa 540-510 BC. Stater (Silver, 28 mm, 7.87 g, 12 h). META Ear of barley with eight grains; border of dots within two concentric linear circles. Rev. Incuse ear of barley with eight grains; rayed border. Antike Kunst (1967), 451 (this coin). HN Italy 1479. Noe Class VI, 114. Well struck and nicely toned. Light scratches and with minor roughness on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
