CARIA. Antioch ad Maeandrum. Circa 90/89-65/60 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28 mm, 16.07 g, 12 h), Diotrephes, magistrate for the first time. Laureate head of Apollo to right with bow and quiver over his shoulder. Rev. ANTIOXE/ΩN - ΔIOTPΕΦΗΣ Zebu bull standing left, head facing, on maeander pattern. Thonemann Group A, 1 (O1/-). Rare and unusually attractive, with a lovely obverse. Very fine.
