THRACE, Maroneia. Circa 365-330s BC. Fourrée Tetradrachm (23.5mm, 8.68 g, 11h). Kallikrates, magistrate. Horse prancing left, trailing rein; below, dog left / Grape arbor in linear square; EΠI K-AΛΛ-IKPA-TEOΣ around; all within shallow incuse square. For prototype: cf. Schönert-Geiss 487–91; cf. HGC 3, 1533. Toned, holed and plugged, core visible in spots. VF.
