Large lot of 20 uncut sheets of India 5 rupees bank note paper. Each sheet about 26" x 23" Each sheet in this lot bears around 50 notes and has some edge damage, light staining, and minor foxing from immersion in the water over several decades; two of the sheets have trimmed edges. The watermark on each note is of the crowned bust of King George facing right, the text RESERVE / BANK / OF / INDIA, and the denomination 5 in the upper left and lower right corners.
