Presumably an early variety within 5th-period B (formerly attributed to 3rd period) with distinctive lions and characteristic X-shaped arrangement of fleurs in New Burgundy (see lot 521 for an 8 reales), the shield and cross both full but doubled, with bold P-B, darkly toned AVF with some light scratches. Pedigreed to the Jorge Ugaz collection.
