Jordan 1949 (ND 1952) P-5Ab PMG Very Fine 30 500 Fils
B/B Prefix. In 1952, King Abdullah abdicated the throne due to mental illness. His son ascended the throne and became King Hussein. This Currency Board note is similar to the previous issue, but has a few subtle differences. For one, the watermark has been updated to reflect the new monarch. Second, the English title at back has been shortened, as the second "the" has been removed. A rare type featuring the second signature combination for the type (Anestas Hananeyah - Baha Al-Din Toukan).
