Originally catalogued by Ken Elks as being from the "Newmarket Hoard" however now believed to be Ex Freckenham Hoard, 1948 (a hoard of 525 late Roman bronze coins of Constans, Constantius II, Magnentius, Decentius and Constantius Gallus, some of which were barbarous examples - cf. H. Mattingly, 'The Freckenham Hoard of Roman Coins' in NC Vol. 13, No. 43 (1953) pp. 69-73).
