SELEUKID EMPIRE. Demetrios I Soter. 162-150 B.C. AR tetradrachm. 16.49 gm. 29 mm. Antioch mint. Dated SE 161 (152/1 B.C). His diademed head right within laurel wreath / Tyche holding scepter and cornucopia, seated left on throne supported by winged tritoness right; monograms to outer left, AΞΡ (date) in exergue. SC 1641.6b. HGC 9, 798. Very Fine; rich old toning with underlying iridescence; some old scratches beneath tone on obverse.
