Ziyadid, al-Muzaffar b. 'Ali (372-435h), dinar, 'Madinat 'Adan 406h', with legends arranged in two concentric bands on each side, the inner of which on both sides begins amr al-amir al-Muzaffar, 5.02g (Album A1192), possibly a contemporary imitation (of a type assigned to in East Africa), minor edge faults, otherwise good very fine for issue and rare. These coins have been assigned to the Ziyadid ruler al-Muzaffar b. 'Ali (372-435h) on the basis of the title al-Muzaffar found in the inner margins on both sides. Al-Muzaffar b. 'Ali is attested as ruling in 'Adan in 406h.
