Pompeius Magnus to right between jug on left and lituus on right / Neptune standing to left holding aplustre in right hand, stepping on prow with right foot. On either side one of the Catanaean brothers, carrying his father on his shoulder. Above: PRAEF. In exergue CLAS ET ORAE / MAR IT EX S C. Crawford 511/3a; Sydenham 1344. RSC 17; Sear 334; Bab 27; BMC 7. Well struck on a nice flan. Choice EF. Nice old cabinet toning. Rare.
