KINGS of MACEDON. Philip II. 359-336 BC. AR Tetradrachm (14.12 gm; 25mm x 22mm). Amphipolis, circa 307-297 BC. Struck under Kassander. Laureate head of Zeus right / Nude youth on horseback right, holding palm in right hand and reins in left; torch and monogram below. Le Rider pl. 47, 23; SNG ANS 794; SNG Munchen 137. Lovely strike in high relief. Few minor natural deposits on reverse field. Choice Superb EF.
