SELEUKID KINGS. Antiochus III. 222-187 BC. AR Tetradrachm (14.84 gm; 30 mm). Antioch on the Orontes, Series I, Ca. 223-211/10 BC. Diademed head of Antiochus III right, with youthful features, no side burn, hair in bangs over forehead, dotted border / Apollo, slight drapery on right thigh, seated left on omphalos, testing arrow and resting left hand on grounded bow. Cf. SC-1041.3; Cf. Newell-WSM, 1045. Few minor pittings and light hairline scratches, otherwise well struck on a full flan. Choice aEF.
