Thessaly, Larissa (c.460-440 BC), Silver Hemidrachm, youthful hero Thessalos, wearing petasos and chlamys, restraining the forepart of a bull right by holding a band around its head, rev ΛA-R-I, forepart of a bridled horse right, all with an incuse square, 2.75g, 9h (BCD Thessaly 1110; Lorber 2008, pl. 41, 12). Lightly toned, about extremely fine and attractive.
