Attica, Athens (c.449-415 BC), Silver Tetradrachm, head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive-leaves and a palmette, and wearing an earring and a necklace, rev AΘE, owl standing right, its head facing, an olive-sprig and crescent behind, all within an incuse square, 16.97g, 9h (Starr, pl. XXII, 7'). Small die-break on the obverse and two minor cuts on edge, lightly toned, good very fine.
