Charles VI (1380-1422) gold Agnel d'Or ND (from 1417) AU55 NGC, La Rochelle mint (annulet below 9th letter on reverse), Fr-290, Dup-372B1. 2.70gm. 2nd Emission (from 21 October 1417). +ΛGn: DЄI: QVI TOLL: PЄCAT: mVDI: mIS: nOBIS (double annulet stops), Agnus Dei left, head right, before a standard with banner; within tressure broken by KF | RX below / +XPC • VIHCIT • XPC • RЄGHAT • XPC • IHPЄRAT (rosette stops), cross fleurée with rosette in quadrilobe at center, lis in angels; all within double quatrefoil with seven lis in spandrels. An enviable selection well-recognized for its early use of the Paschal Lamb, this coin shows remarkable clarity to the obverse that rivals even some finer-graded specimens. Mislabeled on the holder as Toulouse mint, likely due to the annulet below the 5th letter on the obverse.
