(crown) LVDϴVICVS (crescent) DЄI: GRA: FRANCϴRVm: RЄX (double annulet stops), crowned royal shield with small sun above / (crown) XPS (crescent) VInCIT: XPS: RЄGnAT: XPS: ImPЄR , cross fleudelisée. Displaying a nearly full outer beaded border with just the most mild evidence of waviness produced from the ghosting of the reverse cross. Notable, neither Ciani nor Duplessy mention a subvariety that uses an upright crescent as the stop after the first word in the legends.
