GERMANY. Prussia. Ducat, 1713-L CS. Berlin Mint. Friedrich III. PCGS MS-61.
Fr-2312; KM-114. L refers to the die cutter Christian Fredrich Luders. A very difficult gold issue to acquire, this piece was produced on the death of Fredrich III the first Prussian king and the reverse design gives the date of his burial. This piece is very attractive with a honey golden color, and shows no signs of wear, though there are some hairlines consistent for the grade. A piece that infrequently comes to market, the last available record of a sale was in 2015, making this piece a RARE and desirable numismatic issue.
Estimate: $2000 - $3000
