ECUADOR. Copper Uniface Sucre Obverse Trial Strike, 1884-H. Heaton Mint. PCGS SPECIMEN-62 Brown.
cf. KM-53.1; Seppa/Anderson-ECP502; Carr-not listed; Sweeny-not listed. Weight: 25.57 gms. EXTREMELY RARE and very interesting, presumably UNIQUE. This lovely trial strike exhibits boldly struck devices with smooth surfaces and light signs of being handled. An attractive mottled rich brown patina with areas of lighter copper coloration, mostly on the reverse side, offer a pleasing appearance and good eye appeal.
