HGC-2, 667; Boehringer-34 (same dies); SNG ANS-219 (same dies). Obverse: Laureate head of Apollo right; Reverse: Head of roaring lion right; four barley grains around. A deeply toned and exceptionally pleasing example, this specimen features a more stylized version of Apollo's hair, exhibiting a number of locks hanging down from before his ear and a bun banded at the back.
