SICILY. Siculo-Punic. Entella. AR Tetradrachm (16.50 gms), ca. 407-398 B.C. NGC VF, Strike: 3/5 Surface: 2/5. Scuff.
HGC-2, 262; Jenkins-31.6 (O8/R30; this coin); SNG Cop-70 (same dies). Obverse: Forepart of horse left; above, crowning Nike flying left, with wreath held in both hands; grain ear to left; Reverse: Palm tree with two date clusters; Punic legend across field. Despite some striking weakness and the noted scuff, this superbly pedigreed example presents great overall charm.
