HGC-4, 1326; BCD Boiotia-438. Obverse: Boeotian shield; Reverse: Bearded head of Dionysos right, wearing ivy wreath; all within incuse square. This handsome example of the strikingly designed type displays a bold execution and high relief that displays the detail expected in a fine style example. Some granularity present on the surface, but retaining a slight luster to the obverse.
