HGC-4, 1597; Kroll-8; SNG Cop-31. Obverse: Helmeted head of Athena right; Reverse: Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent to left; all within incuse square. Despite being produced on an oddly shaped flan, this example of the popular type is well struck in high relief and the surfaces retain a light gray color despite some cracking on the flan. A nearly complete crest is present.
