Obverse: Herakles, nude but for lion skin draped over arm, standing left, holding one head of the Hydra which he strikes at with club; crab between his legs below; Reverse: Bull butting right. Some marks are scattered roughness is observed, but also rather expected for types from Crete which generally exhibit those characteristics. Nevertheless, quite boldly struck on the obverse and featuring a great action scene that recounts the second labor of Herakles.
